Starting from a young age, Delaney Maxwell has exhibited a passion for the visual arts. She has participated in the Savannah College of Art and Design's as well as UCLA's summer art institutes. Pursuing her passion, Maxwell travelled to some of the best art galleries, from the Getty Museum, to the San Diego Museum of Art, to the Metropolitan Museum in New York City, to the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, and to the Louvre in Paris. She has also had the opportunity to participate in many prestigious art contest and shows in her region, receiving an Award of Excellence with Distinction from the Florida Art Education Association, five Scholastic Gold keys, six Scholastic Silver Keys, six Scholastic honorable mentions, and and is a recipient of the Jr. ROWITA Fellowship Award. Maxwell graduated from Creekside High School and plans to continue her education at the University of Georgia, pursuing a degree in scientific illustration and hopes to go on to earn her Master's in medical illustration.
