Nangela (Nangy) Pulsfus is the Director of Care Coordination at Flagler Hospital. In this capacity, Nangy leads a team of care coordinators, working closely with physician partners and clinical staff across the continuum of care, including Flagler Hospital, physician practices, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies and Hospice.

Nangy has a combined eighteen years of service at Flagler, having served in several leadership roles. During her time at Flagler, she has consistently met department goals, introduced innovative programs, and worked collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams to achieve measurable results. Prior to rejoining our team in 2002, Nangy served in progressively responsible roles at St. Johns County Welfare Federation, including Director of Nursing and Director of Operations where she had oversight of a 120-bed skilled nursing facility and assisted living facilities, including management of human resources, admissions, risk management, rehabilitative services, nursing, housekeeping, and maintenance services. She is very active in our community, serving as a board member on the Healthy Start Coalition of Northeast Florida, a member of both the Northeast Florida and St. Johns County Infant Mortality Task Forces, a committee member of the Five Learning Years, Early Learning Coalition, and a previous member of Family Planning Committee, St. Johns Health Department. Nangy holds a Bachelors of Nursing and was also the recipient of the Great 100 Nurses of Northeast Florida Award for Patient Advocacy.

Nangy is a native of St. Augustine and was born at Flagler Hospital by Dr. Plant. She is happily married to her best friend and has a grown daughter and two adorable stepsons. In her free time Nangy enjoys running, birding and gardening. She is a dog lover with two rescue mutts and a Great Dane puppy.
