Tiffaney Harman spent the last 25 years in healthcare. She started working in Radiology as a tech at VCU Medical systems in Richmond, Virginia. She transitioned to a doctor's office where she worked the front desk. She quickly was promoted to surgical coordinator and by 25 yrs old she was the office manager. However, there was something more for our there for Tiffaney. She always had the desire and the goal to be a nurse. After relocating to northeast Florida, Tiffaney decided to fulfill her lifelong dream. With five children by her side she took the challenge head-on and enrolled in nursing school.

"Balance in life is the key to success. It took some practice, but I knew if I wanted to be a full time Registered Nurse I was going to have to learn how to balance my professional life with my family life..."

After graduating nursing school with honors, Tiffaney started her nursing career working in a neurovascular progressive care unit. Getting the experience on the front line was a valuable step in her growth potential within the gamut of healthcare. Three years ago she decided to expand her knowledge in home health care. "I have finally found my niche. Home health has been the most rewarding nursing care I have ever delivered. Walking into someone's home and helping them reach their healthcare goals is at times emotional. I feel that the biggest impact on healthcare can happen in the home. This is where I know how to make a difference." With the balance of five children, 2 grandchildren and a healthy family, home health care for Tiffaney is a natural fit. Currently Tiffaney is changing the face of home health care within our community. Her vision is to enrich the quality of life which can certainly be impacted by the individual environment for each patient. She is now the Director of Nursing for BayView Healthcare Home Health.

The Harman family has been living in Florida since November of 2012. They are proud to call it their home state. Their oldest son and his wife are in the US Army. In addition to working full time for BayView, Tiffany home schools her 14 year old autistic son. While working for Bayview Home Healthcare, the Harman's adopted a five pound Chihuahua from a resident who needed more care in a facility rather than in a home environment. "It was such a rewarding moment, knowing Bayview's continuum could care for this patient. At the same time the patient entrusted my family to adopt her dog so she can focus on her health and wellness. "That moment for me reveals the complete cathartic fulfillment."
