Angela Christensen, MBA, BSN, Administrator Surgical Services

Angela Christensen is the new Administrator of Surgical Services at Flagler Hospital. In this capacity, Angela handles a broad range of responsibilities that encompass all aspects of operations of surgical services at Flagler Hospital. She brings a wealth of experience to this role. Angela carries surgical services experience specializing in operations, financial viability, construction of outpatient surgery centers, and process workflow improvements.

Angela was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio. She holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Amber University in Dallas, Texas and a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from the University of Texas. Most recently, Angela was a senior consultant specializing in non-labor cost reduction and process improvement within perioperative services. She served as the Administrator of Surgical Services at St Luke Health System in Boise, Idaho where she held responsibility for a service line consisting of two hospitals and four outpatient surgery centers. Other roles include Executive Director of Oregon Heart and Vascular Institute for Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene, Oregon; Assistant Vice President of Surgical Services at Baptist Health Systems in Miami, Florida; Director of Surgical Services at Deaconess Medical Center in Billings, Montana; and, Director of Surgical Services at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Angela loves living in St Augustine where she says "people are welcoming and nice." She loves living near the ocean, swimming, fishing and enjoys walking on the beach. Angela has a dog Coco and two cats, Skippy and Stell.
